Here's a point no one brought up: financing one is difficult as shit. Unless you have awesome credit (700+ FICO), you aren't getting approved for a one. Motorcycles fall under 'luxury' items when it comes to loans, not a standard automotive loan, so the approval criteria is much stricter than buying a car is. Additionally, most loans of these types have a bottom line interest rate of ~8%, sometimes higher. Combine this with insurance premiums, and you're paying a pretty penny to ride a bike for fun. They aren't practical vehicles in the least, and most riders have shit technique when on a bike, don't even apply the most basic of safety principles, like never taking your right foot off of the bike until coming to a complete stop, or even looking around to change lanes.

Tank is cheap to fill as I get 120 miles per tank.

Tax is cheaper, insurance is cheaper, but a big bike isn't night and day cheaper to run than your average car. I use a car day to day cos convenience. I use my bike when I want to have fun.
