If you can get an overnight stock job its ideal but i work 4am-2pm and it works out really well for me. I get a lot of my work done when the store is empty and i get to watch the sun rise on my break. Anything retail is going to suck a little if you have anxiety but its much more managable in the morning.
I also find that customers are in a better mood when its early. Maybe their first cup of coffee is giving them all a good buzz.

Ive got a comfy thing going on. I grew up on the jersey shore. Things you take for granted ya know? I had to move north toward nyc for a few years. All you hear is traffic and horns wherever the fuck you go. Well i made enough money to buy a house down home where i grew up. Moved in over this past winter. As it has been warming up a sound came back i had all but forgotten. There are these little tree frogs that get all excited and chirp. We call em peepers. Christ sometimes they get deafening. I used to enjoy hockey and basketball. Over the years it dawned on me that half the teams make it to the playoffs, often with losing records. Regular season seems worthless and playoffs seem cheapened. Hard to get interested.

I will say that watching overtime in hockey playoffs is as good as hockey gets. I remember watching a triple overtime game that was going until almost 3 AM.

Well as the sun comes up, I'm on my fourth day of being clean from opiates. The pain is for the most part over though the insomnia is still there.
