Exactly. I don't deny that transgendered people or people with Gender Dysphoria really think they are the wrong gender and have chemical imbalances, I just very much disagree with the treatment.

It's unlike any other mental disorder treatment. You don't treat someone with BIID by amputating a healthy limb, and you don't treat a schizophrenic by forcing the population to play along with his delusion. So why is Gender Dysphoria different?

Instead of just forcing the condition to fully express itself and going the other way, why not treat it in the OPPOSITE direction. I can only imagine that they are conflicted because they don't TOTALLY feel like the opposite gender, so it's not like they are already there. It seems like it would be easier medically and mentally for the patient to just take hormone treatments for their biological sex.

2. GENDER is a spectrum because it is, in essence, a social construct. As much as people may dislike transgenders and tumblr special snowflakes, this is still the case until you get society at large to agree with you. SEX is not a social construct, but is a biological characteristic determined by chromosomes, and as such has only two states: MALE or FEMALE.

3. Transgender people, to put it simply, are born with the brain of one gender and the body of another. Without using too much medical and scientific jargon, while a fetus is developing in the womb, it is originally female until chromosomes act on it to change it to male. These chromosomes use certain enzymes to cause the changes within the body. When those enzymes fail to activate for whatever reason, it can cause transgenderism. For example, if the enzymes in the BRAIN fail but the BODY do not fail, the brain will remain structurally female while the body develops as male. This is also the most common scenario of this happening for reasons that are still unknown, which is why there are so many more MtF transgenders than FtMs.

That being said, it does not excuse Bill Nye from pushing this bullshit SJW narrative on anyone, and I myself am a closeted TG.
