Regarding highway patrol: I've never had any issues with them, but I've heard the stories. They probably see too many corpses or something.

Only been pulled up once by a highway officer. He actually let me off for something.

Forensic crash unit, fires and ambos however is another story. Highway patrol is directing traffic when people are looking at bodies/saving lives
