I imagine if you're trying to take a picture of only bodies in our solar system then you would set the camera in a way that back ground light is cut out so you can see the little white dot that is earth in that picture. At the point you alter the orbit would not change all that much, the opposite end of the orbit would be affected the most.

The aperture and exposure time is set to see earth without blowing out Saturn, and as such there wasn't enough light eminated from neighboring stars to see them clearly. Same effect happens when you're near a street light at night: the stars didn't go away, your eyes just aren't exposing themselves to enough light to see them.

I might catch shit for this but all the posts about space being a vacuum are false arguments. They say space is a vacuum because of how low the concentration of molecules/atoms/particles are.
