So guys I've been thinking.
What happens when the outside lava on the sun solidifies like it has on earth? Isn't it going to be dark all day and we will only have a bit of moonlight at night?
>>
There's no lava on the sun, the sun is composed of helium and hydrogen. There's like 2% of metals in it.

Also, the hydrogen and helium are in plasma state (ionized gas)
>>
>lava on sun
It's much hotter than that anon...
>>
>>730202712
But plasma is green and the sun is yellow.

OP is either retarded or trolling but real answer is the sun won't solidify but will just slowly get really big and then most of it will then float away.

The sun is mass of incandescent gas, a gigantic nuclear furnace
Where hydrogen is built into helium at a temperature of millions of degrees
Yo ho it's hot, the sun is not a place where we could live
But here on earth there'd be no life without the light it gives
We need its light, we need its heat, we need its energy
Without the sun, without a doubt, there'd be no you and me
The sun is mass of incandescent gas, a gigantic nuclear furnace
Where hydrogen is built into helium at a temperature of millions of degrees
The sun is hot
It is so hot that everything on it is a gas
Iron, copper, aluminum and many others
The sun is large
If the sun were hollow, a million earths could fit inside
And yet the sun is still only a middle-sized star

>>

>No matter how far out we go out space is not completely empty.
That just means we haven't gone out far enough, anon. You'll see.
>>
>>730208419

Cant everyone be correct ! its full and empty all at once.

Space that we can see is mainly very very empty.
If you ignore the galaxies and stars, then the rest of space is mainly a vacuum, so there’s no particles at all. The particles that are there are mainly hydrogen and helium, which form a plasma called the Intergalactic Medium. A plasma is where these particles have energy and are ionised, so behave very differently to when they are just a gas.

84% of everything in the Universe is thought to be dark matter!

In addition, scientists believe that there is dark matter. Dark matter is so called because it has never been seen, but in order for the laws of gravity in the Universe to work properly, it is needed to be there, in fact, 84% of everything in the Universe is thought to be dark matter!

Doubt intensifies

It is too far from the planets to have been affected by the gravity of Neptune or the other giant planets and too bound to the Sun to be affected by outside forces such as the galactic tides. Hypotheses to explain its orbit include that it was affected by a passing star, that it was captured from another planetary system, or that it was tugged into its current position by a trans-Neptunian planet
