Does your country/city have any major monopolies/polypolies shitting it up?

If you're an actual cat i'd pet you
I bought my cat really fancy food for his birthday and he is refusing to eat it. Lulz.
>>730158808
Most of the time people just roll with the implication that that's the case.
Horse? I'm bored, and need to take a break from this paper.

please stop reminding me of the death of my beloved cat
>>730159051
But if I can sit back, do nothing, and say with almost 90% confidence "It'll be fixed when everything reboots" he is sated more than if I take 5 minutes diagnosing which switch needs a reset while I tell him "I'm trying to figure it out."
>>730158584
My city's train lines cost $5.50, plus some amount based on how many stations you travel.
It's complete bullshit, and the reason the city has reached maximum population (no vacancies), because no one wants to live outside the city when it's at least as expensive assuming you work/study inside the city.
>>730158894
maybe you just didn't meet his taste?
cats are very picky when it comes to favorite food...
>>730159217
ah, the old problem with dumb supervisors/bosses. now I do understand.
>>730159148
My baby cat died last month.
Interesting thing. Cats can in fact waste to death from hyperthyroidism.
>>730159241
My problem is that he refuses to eat anything other than Cheerios and his prescription dry food.
I should have known.
>>730159368
Yup, and I don't really blame them. They just see a problem and want a solution, so I've just gotten into the habit of telling them the solution is to just turn everything off and back on again. They like that more than "I'm going to take some time to diagnose what the issue actually is and then fix it accordingly." And really, a full reboot fixes the problem almost all the time.
>>730159382
I'm sorry for your loss.
I had to put my cat down because of multiple organ failure after 18 years.
at least he had a happy life. I guess.
>>730159221
That's NZD though, 1NZD = 0.7USD
Still, if you're working minimum wage (most jobs are just a smidgen above), even though NZ has high minimum wage, if you live in the city half your hours will be to pay your landlord and if you live outside the city but work there your landlord+train will in combination take half your hours to pay.
>>730159482
Cheerios do contain sugar, don't they? thus, they're bad for cats (cats can't process excess sugar in their food)
comics?
>>730159579
Yeah, but the thing that really sucks is that our cats are like happiness engines. They turn food and pettings into a pure and unnaturally powerful happiness - since they could never find that kind of paradise in nature. And when they die, the world loses that happiness engine.
This is not intended to make you OR me feel better. Just sadness.
>>730159705
1g per serving. I drop like, two or three to him, so it's incredibly negligible.
I sprinkled some of his regular food on the fancy food and I think he's eating it now.

>cats are like happiness engines. They turn food and pettings into a pure and unnaturally powerful happiness - since they could never find that kind of paradise in nature. And when they die, the world loses that happiness engine.
this is the most accurate description of house cats I've read so far.
unfortunately, getting a new cat is no option in my current state of life, and I feel how the lack of a 'happiness engine' in my life is affecting my overall mood quite badly.
>>730160291
Kind of don't want a new cat. Or at least not for a while. Not done feeling shitty about this one.

unfortunately, we have very few of that here in southern Germany
>>730161298
Ahh. I'm not familiar with the density of germany. I live in america like 30 minutes from the canadian border, which is like 3000 kilometers of no where.

there isn't a place within like 200km around me that wouldn't get police and firefighters alarmed if clouds of black smoke arise into the sky.
no fire experiments for me anymore...

The way your body does, also. I used to sit on one and have two in me at a time. I'd sleep with them all in, too. It's not like they were massive, so they naturally come back out. They don't get stuck. Just like, relax when they do or they'll come out with a bit of velocity.

30 ft nylon cable
10 lb of cheese
19 ballpoint pens
7 paperclips, one of which is oversized
1 bag of professional marbles
4 drugs, one of which is a marijuana
1 set of lion kings toys
1 set of plastic animals
5 lbs of butter
>>730166023
You are throwing completely un-researched items into your list. 30ft of good nylon cable is way more than $100. 10lb of cheese only runs you like, $70. I won't even comment on the rest because they come in way under $100.
>>730166176
My ass. I never said good nylon cable and I can grab 10 lb of cheese for half that price. Though I guess it depends on where you live for the cheese.

Trees have a lot of strange sentiment to them. Plants in general actually. I remember when my dad had to cut some of our old climbing tree down because it was getting precarious. Felt like childhood's end or something. All things end eventually I guess.

>>730168633
Oh well ya, printing out the scan and laminating would be easy peazy. But it's not like I go to THAT many cons anyway... Plus there are a lot of amazing details on the original. Like those letters are actually cut out from stuff and there's a tiny bit of glitter where her earing is.
Let me see if I can find real quick, but I think probably around $70 for each
>>730168921
I don't know, that just looks like it flat out hurts in a way not usually associated with painplay.

$70, dam. That's not too bad I suppose. fuck me art is expensive

Alrighty gents, gonna hit up some OW for a bit. Happy posting!
>>730169338
