I am aware that before we had all this civilization shit, people were fuckin' at 12 to 15(shittier nutrition caused later puberty in ancient man). And basically us mandating that people wait until they're 16 or 17 or 18 to start fucking is "unnatural".

And i do not think pedophiles need to be killed to prevent them from having sex with children. Pedophile is just an orientation. It's not a crazed uncontrollable lust. Pedophiles have the ability to have self-control.

Hell, children hit puberty as early as 9 now and are forced to be unable to engage in sex until up to 18 years old. 9 years of the horniest years of their lives and they don't rape people. And they're kids too, so at a disadvantage in the self-control department.

Pedophiles have a much easier job of not partaking. Okay, one last thing.

The root reason we cannot move to a system where sex with minors is allowed is because it isn't possible to just command a culture to change. It isn't possible to just present a good argument to a culture, and then that culture changes to the new policies. Culture change is slow and organic and actually fairly difficult to directly influence.

So why do i explain this? Because there is good evidence that most of the psychological damage that happens to children as a consequence of having sex with them is caused not by the act itself but how that culture regards the act and regards the actors before, during and after the act. There are small tribes elsewhere in the world where sex with children is a normal part of their culture and it doesn't fuck them up. Because it's normal, they don't have to act all secretive about it, hinting to the children that it's a bad thing. The society doesn't pity them or hate the adult afterwards. It's just normal. The children grow up into perfectly healthy adults.

Therefore it would be possible for society at large to operate that way, but as i explained earlier, we can't just decree it should shift that way. And we can't hope for people to change their mind just by presenting a good argument.

And as long as our culture has this attitude about child sex, children WILL be harmed psychologically by the act. And we cannot tolerate it.

It is possible. Culture does change. But, to be honest, i don't know how to do it. But i really doubt it's as simple as some people just DOING it and disregarding the stigma.
