The 'doxing' that has been done so far has been from matching one highly-correlated data set of images to a highly-structured data set of images that have extensive identity information attached to them all. e.g. that Russian social network site that didn't have any of its pictures secured.

The reality is indexing billions of images and doing facial recognition on all of them takes a level of computing infrastructure that only a handful of companies will have over the next few decades, and they're not going to make it available to the general public.

You're ignoring the regulatory constraints and self-enforcement that will come with that tech's advancement. People like their secrets. Google might allow you to reverse image search a porn photo for now to see where else it's posted, but they're sure as fuck not going to do facial recognition for you and show her Facebook. Talk about a legal clusterfuck.
