Here's whats really going to happen. someone is going to get killed. five days later the police will be called because someone is worried about their friend are they smell something rotting in their neighbors house. The police look at the dead body. identify the victim, take pictures and will start asking family and friends questions to see who had a motive to kill this guy. If they can find enough evidence or reason to suspect someone they will extend their time to find the criminal. If not they will call it a day and move on to the next crime and hope that this time they will have more luck. Your murder file will never be opened again unless they have reason to believe its connected to another murder.
