i wasnt racist till i moved to college and there were lots of nigs. they cause trouble and fights nonstop and i even got robbed at gun point by one on the street. in the clubs they would fight and act like tough guys and yell and they were rude as hell. they would always try to cut corners and break rules even like cutting in lines for clubs and stuff like that. they would come to parties and break stuff and fight more and act like they owned the house or like the party was for them and they parties with lots of blacks always ended up with cops coming or something stolen or someone getting jumped. i would read the police reports in the paper and there were always muggings and purse thieves and the descriptions were always the same. black male in a hoodie. i was never around black people and never though it was this true and they were as bad as they were. i became racist because i learned how they really act.

It was largely some of his most vocal supporters who brought on most of it. I'll buy that the promised wall wasn't inherently racist, but most of the people who ate that shit up were. And then you had /pol/ and all these stormfags running around screaming about niggers and Jews, and feminists. Trump did nothing to distance himself from them until after the primaries, and even then it was too little too late. He has attempted to distance himself from them more actively since taking office, but that amounts to his administration and the GOP itself labeling the alt-right as liberal terrorists trying to make them look bad. He's still not reassuring anyone else of shit, other than that he is impulsive as fuck, and will say and do anything it takes to get through a given moment, without care for how it will reflect on him, his administration, and his party down the road.

I'll buy that he's not a racist. Only because he is an elitist though, and he doesn't even attempt to hide it. He wears that shit like a badge of honor. He's very comparable to Andrew Jackson in this regard. Jackson too had to rely on the votes of people whom he normally looked down his nose at, and considered little better than the niggers.

That was actually one of the arguments slave owners had against abolition too. If the niggers were to just be freed they'd become as worthless as commoner whites. You know, the same commoner filth who were pushing the frontiers westward, and forging a nation, while men like these stayed on their estates living the good life. Their mentality and spirit live on. They've been trying to convince commoners that everyone but them is their true enemy all along. This shit is as old as Rome and Athens, if not older. Why change what works?

And you believe that they were the slave owners?

My ancestors were mountain folk from Northeastern Alabama. They were not poor. To this day doctor, lawyer, and minister are the three most common male professions on that side of the family. Back then they were also farmers, but they did not own plantations, nor slaves. They were strictly abolitionists, participated in the underground railroad (what? you think it would have worked at all without whites willingly giving food, and shelter to runaways?) and eventually the males of fighting age served proudly under Sherman. Albeit not because of their abolitionist convictions however, because originally they wanted no part of the Confederacy or the war. The war came to their doorstep no matter how neutral they proclaimed themselves, and it was the Confederates who brought it to them, and were hence who they retaliated against.

East Tennessee played a very vital, but indirect role in the war in Virginia, to the advantage of the Union. East Tennessee voted three to one against secession, and when the Western portion of the state began moving troops and supplies through the region, the folks here retaliated by burning the bridges, and waging a guerilla war against them. They are why things were ultimately so hopeless for the CSA in Virginia. Had the CSA been able to reinforce their position, and keep an open supply line, things would have certainly dragged out longer, and may have ended quite differently.

The South was not in any sense unified under the Confederacy, and for that matter the North wasn't unified under the Union. Lincoln and his war were not at all popular in the North.
