It's a 2016 Marlin 336 in 30-30. And yes Marlin has got their shit together since the Remington buyout. It's years 07-12 that you want to avoid. That's hands down my favorite gun of mine. Most Winchesters, if not all are ejected from the top. Mine is on the side in case I want to mount a scope on there. Also have Skinner sights in the mail as we speak

Have heard the 45-70 levers are kinda known for the end to go blasting off, lol. Well shit someone told me they had a 30-30 that did that. I think it just happens with lever guns. And yeah a lot of people don't dig the pistol cartridge rifles. I just want one so I can tote a revolver in the same cartridge and be good to go.
