Advice please.

I love this girl. We've know each other since grade 4 and have dated in the past. We have been hanging out a lot recently and she knows I love her. But she hasn't given me a definite answer on if she wants to date again or not. I've graduated college and have a decent job and she is about to apply to grad school. So, I'm asking for advice:
I'm currently in a pretty committed relationship; we've been talking about the idea of getting married, settling down, having kids one day, but my job has me living in Texas now; we're two-thousand miles away from one another. He struggles with seasonal depression, among a few other things, and I don't think this move has helped any. He talks to me less and less and in the few chat rooms we share, he's happy as a clam to spend all day jabbering with friends, meanwhile I wait hours to get a response from him. Whenever I bring this up (It's been going on for a while now, mind.) and mention that, maybe things are fizzling out and we should look other ways, he gets really passionate, adamant about us staying together, that I'm the only one he wants to be with.

Started playing around launch, beat the campaign, and stopped playing because I had no raid buddies, started playing again when they announced TTK, managed to find raid buddies and finish up everything before TTK. Played it until I recieved XBone, which was before the spring update. Did not want to pay again for everything, so I said "I'll wait until Destiny 2"

I then had to watch from the sidelines as they showed off things like Taken armor and the Iron Gjallarhorn and Rise of Iron, and now Age of Triumph

Find what makes you tick, what makes you interested, fuck everyone elses opinion about it unless its valid because a person can have a valid opinion that is wrong those are two separate things. If you don't know that, I'd say you should start reading and understanding that earlier than later.

You sound like you're about 15-19 right about now, and your father or mother are either too invasive and don't give you the room you need or not there at all / lack interest in you.

Maybe it's not even them, maybe you don't see the benefit in having them help you through tough times because you think they can't understand.

That's just my personal guesses, could be wrong, that's what I'm reading.

But, you're having an existential crisis. It's nothing new. You just need to talk with a therapist to figure out your identity, and your internal view of that identity.
