It's a manga that's been running for 20+ years now, and it's pretty incredible. One of the things that's most interesting about it, is that the author has basically reinvented himself in his style several times throughout the series, while still keeping it true to its roots. During the first 10 volumes (referred to collectively as the "Golden Age" arc), it's basically gritty 80s style manga of purely dark medieval warfare, becoming borderlined historical fiction. but in volumes 11-12+ literally hell opens up and pours itself onto earth evil dead style but in a completely serious manner. Over the next ~5 volumes you have every bit of bad in his world corrupted and risen to full blown demonic rape-fests; corrupt priests burning everyone at the stake, packs of roving goblins kidnapping women, raping and impregnating them to make more monsters, an evil god-emporer who tries to take over the world etc. It then turns into a traditional swords/sorcery fantasy where Guts assembles a team of rag-tag heroes to destroy the five God Hands of hell, one of whom was his best friend and rival during the Golden Age.

Started one episode of new season stuff, so far so good.

Never seen Devilman, but from what I read on the wiki, maybe Devilman.
I guess his main powers are flight, increased strength/speed, and beam attacks.
Closest thing Guts fought was probably Rosine. Don't know how physically strong Devilman is, but if they're a rough comparison, then probably Devilman.
Guts barely managed to kill Rosine, and she didn't have beam attacks, so that may put Devilman on top.

We should find a 3rd person and go kill Graardor tomorrow or something.
I did it with some random people recently and it was very easy.
Not too much though, trying to get work done now so I can play a bunch tomorrow.
Got 92 slayer so 1 level left.

If it weren't for the anime, I wouldn't have red the manga. The first arc is grimdark edgy, and janky art.

2nd main arc, the story went from 0 to 10 real fast, and 1 more later the art went from decent to insane.

Don't watch anime, don't read manga, but I love Berserk.

I'd very much want Trump to do literally anything else besides declare war on Syria (particularly with the intention of forcing Assad out of power and enacting yet another regime change in the Middle East)

If I was more educated on the effectiveness of war and regime change I'd have a stronger opinion on the matter. I don't know enough to outright say war is the right or wrong decision.

What do you think would be a solution?

I'm no in position to argue, but I'm always for solving it at the root of the problem. No clue how to do that for the Middle East, though.
