Gooks are a vile insect race that are not native to Earth. Because of that, they do their best to tailor their entertainment as closely to humans as possible.

With Anime, for example, since the majority of humans that most closely match the skin tone that their exoskeletons were able to produce happened to be white, they modeled their Anime characters off of whites.
