It's a manga that's been running for 20+ years now, and it's pretty incredible. One of the things that's most interesting about it, is that the author has basically reinvented himself in his style several times throughout the series, while still keeping it true to its roots. During the first 10 volumes (referred to collectively as the "Golden Age" arc), it's basically gritty 80s style manga of purely dark medieval warfare, becoming borderlined historical fiction. but in volumes 11-12+ literally hell opens up and pours itself onto earth evil dead style but in a completely serious manner. Over the next ~5 volumes you have every bit of bad in his world corrupted and risen to full blown demonic rape-fests; corrupt priests burning everyone at the stake, packs of roving goblins kidnapping women, raping and impregnating them to make more monsters, an evil god-emporer who tries to take over the world etc. It then turns into a traditional swords/sorcery fantasy where Guts assembles a team of rag-tag heroes to destroy the five God Hands of hell, one of whom was his best friend and rival during the Golden Age.

Hey 911, what's new?
>>727586303
Not much, got a huge chunk of work done today so actually not as busy as I was before any more, even had time to play RS without feeling guilty about it because I had more important thing to do. Not much else though, might watch some of the final episode of last season I've yet to watch, you?
>>727586946
>without feeling guilty about it because I had more important thing to do
Can relate heavily.
Been up to anything fun in RS?
I've just been cutting magic logs the past week. Very slow xp and gp, but I have a ton of work to do and classes to not fail.
Same pretty much, watching the last ep of Youjo Senki soon, and also finishing New Dominion Tank Police.
Then I'll need to start a new show, haven't looked into that yet.
If you're free, wanna try some GWD1 tomorrow?
End of Chapter 2
Onto Chapter 3

>Been up to anything fun in RS?
Did try some ZMI earlier but ran out of energy pots so went to make those and figured I might as well get my herb to 72 while I'm at it so I can make my own range potions. Other than that, did some Barrows just now and got Dharok's legs and Guthan's chest, made about 1.5m in total so it was a nice trip. Might go back to fishing so I can get 80 for the new fishing spot that'll come with The Inferno.
>If you're free, wanna try some GWD1 tomorrow?
Depends on what time.
>>727587982
How many energy pots/trip did you use?
72 herb is what I need to finally get as well, would be nice to use ranging potions more often, I'm not a fan of buying them.
I don't do anything important with my time, so I'm free all day.
>>727588309
Only 1, drink after teleporting back and it brings me back to full energy. My main worry with ZMI was not being able to run all the time but that doesn't seem to be a problem with this.
>I don't do anything important with my time, so I'm free all day.
I'll see what happens tomorrow then.
>>727588431
Would probably be better to use staminas, can get your setup to only need one sip every other run and you'll never run out of energy.
I think I used BiS weight reduction with dhide body/chaps or something and I took no damage between that and praying.
Dust staff and ourania teleport are lifesavers but I'm assuming you're already using them.
Sounds good.
>>727588747
Energy pots are so much cheaper than staminas though, even one sip of stamina could pay for like 3 energy potions.
End of Chapter 3 and end of dump for tonight
>>727588991
Oh I assumed you were using super energy potions.
Cheaper but less efficient, so fair enough.
>>727589431
You only lose around 35~% run energy using full graceful thanks to the weight loss + set effect. Could even put on protection prayers + rapid heal and you'd get through them without taking much damage for a very long time and just use the altar when going back.
>>727589569
The set affect for full graceful is a little disappointing, it only activates when you're not moving, which doesn't help too much at ZMI since it's not often you're standing still, just at altar and bank which doesn't take very long.
It's BiS tied with Spottier Cape, Penance Gloves, and Boots of Lightness since using either combination you're well under 0kg.
I think I use full graceful at ZM, Tithe Farm, and agility traiing which you don't really need it ofr anyway I think, haven't found any other real uses for it.
I even dyed it in White Supremacy colors.
I did the same thing, think I prayed rapid restore and piety and prayed every other trip.
Never had to eat or anything, so it worked out as long as I did it on the world with everyone else.
>>727590406
>it only activates when you're not moving
No? The effect is always active, moving or not. You just don't notice it since you're usually using run energy when you have it on.
>>727590622
From the wiki:
Wearing the full Graceful outfit will restore the player's run energy 30% quicker.
and
Energy gradually recovers (increasing up to a maximum of 100%) any time that the player is not running, i.e. walking or standing still, except at certain times when the player is doing something else, such as crossing an agility obstacle.
Where did you read that it restores energy while running?
>>727590958
I just always assumed it restored while running but you just used more than you gained since it made sense that way.
>>727591478
There's a chance the wiki's wrong too, I'm about to test it out now.
