I'm a process engineer at a waste water treatment plant.

I make about £46k depending on how much overtime I work.

I fucking love it. I get to fuck about when no ones here...nightshifts I just sit and play xbox all night. Just chilling in the control room with my feet up enjoying an ice cold glass of Vimpto debating if its too early or not for an Indian for dinner...

I fucking hate it I fucking hate the corporate world. My industry is full of know-nothing women they have taken over. I am the only male out of 14 women in my group. Don't let anyone tell you there's a fucking glass ceiling it's not true. The glass ceiling only exists for jobs like garbageman , contractor, or fucking roofer.

Also just an FYI the organic industry is full of shit, monsanto's is not evil, and non GMO and gluten free is the biggest marketing scam that Americans and Europeans are buying like the sheep that they are.

>$34500
It's ok, like all jobs some things I do are more fun than others. Just doing it for a few more years. Was studying at uni, then we had our second kid so had to buy a bigger apartment for me and my family so needed to get a job. Will go back to studying when gf is finished with nursing school and starts working.

to be a sys admin at the refinery:
i was working on my BS in Digital Forensics and got contracted in by Brooksource Technical Youth while I was job hunting. Pretty cash contract position for 3 years at 52k.

TBH kinda want to hear more bullshit about the corporate world if you're still in this thread. Never worked in an office in my life.
>>
>>727532190
I'm thinking of getting into it, like starting off at the refinery to get ripped money wise and then buying dilapidated houses and selling them off again.
>>
>>727532325
Well the first thing I would suggest is decide where you want to see yourself in Construction. Working in a trade, (plumber carpenter electrican) or construction management ( Project manager, construction mamager, engineer, architect) there is a world of possibilities out there for you!

Teach nutrition. Real nutritionist are crazy it takes a food scientist to break it down. They focus on the wrong things. One of the best teachers ive ever had was a food scientist/chef. She was intense but the knowledge and presentation was excellent.

I'm lazy as fuck, have depression, am a virgin (-because of my small dick- meme), taking pain killers and drugs every day and the only thing I do is listening to music and internet

well I go to the gym 3 times a week too

>career/job

Cookie delivery driver and freelance writer. I used to be the operations manager of a mid-sized logistics company, so it's a pretty big step down.

>salary

About $7 per hour plus tips for delivery, which averages out around $15 per hour. With writing I earn $30 per article and average between $40 and $60 per article. When I'm doing freelance work for individual clients, I can sometimes make about $1,000 in two days, but I rarely get projects that big any more.

>do you like it

I had doing delivery - it's intensely degrading to have to subsist on the charity of strangers. The biggest dividend I'm taking away from the job is a shift back to the political left. I definitely feel as if my labor is being exploited.

The bonus is that I'm definitely going to wrap up my degree as soon as possible, because I don't want to do this shit any more.

Genuinely don't mind writing. I'm good at it and type quickly and like learning, so I never feel burdened or set-upon when I'm doing my articles.
