Yaah, there's a PS1 version (in collection), DS, and a SNES. All mechanically and graphically equivalent (DS version might have upped graphics, forget), and the DS version has an extra ending. So, you got plenty of option. Plus probably available virtually on some consoles.

I'd just say it is in the vein of FFIV-VI in terms of combat, so if Active Time Battle is annoying to you then it might not be great for you.

Time travel plot with branching narrative. There are precisely 2 games I can think of which fit this description. One is Yu-No, and fuck you should play that too if you like Visual Novels and Adventure games. If you like RPGs, well there's only one... (I'm sure there could be more, especially now that steam is a thing). That tends to be sufficient for most interests to be peaked. Also, it's Square in their golden era (SNES-PS1) when they were trying interesting things and it shows. Also, look at the names behind the game and you'll find gold. The artists from Dragon Ball Z designed the characters I think? One of the few games to make me cry, the only other one that comes to mind that did that was MGS. Yaah, highly recommended. Also, I didn't choose my waifu lightly.

Yeah I need to confess I'm a little stressed over that.

There's 3 different sessions over the summer and I need to take four classes if I want to leave with an associate's by the summer.

It's probably way too early to worry about it but I'm kind of worried about balancing free time vs having something to do over the summer- if I need to take 4 classes to finish my requirements I would like adequate time to enjoy my summer but not have too much.

Probably just going to take my remaining electives over the summer and take those last two classes in the fall.

Never gets old, doesn't matter which game for me. Who do you enjoy using? Since it's pretty much tornado season here, it'll be a round of storms with hail, lots of wind, and depending on the area, some potential tornadoes. You usually don't see them here in the city, but definitely hail. Last week parts of my area got hit by baseball sized hail. Naturally, the roofing contractors and their salespeople were out in full force.

4 classes would be close to a regular load, no? I think you'd get a good balance from that. At least filling your free time isn't a class in and of itself, the time is there to be used. Might wanna think of ways to pass it while enjoying it.

Aside from crappy tornado season, I already got June's trip paid for, definitely looking forward to a week in Destin to unwind. It's all gonna be leisure though, I'm not the sort who does well on the sorts of trips where you're running off of a strict schedule like some. If there's that much to see I can always go back.

Your vacation plan sounds pretty great. Much better than the family's plan of 'if you're not doing everything you're not enjoying your vacation properly/throw money at it and it gets better'

Well here's the thing, I have two electives I need and two real classes to finish my requirements.

I could easily take them all in the summer, maybe the two electives during the first 6 week period and then the serious classes during the 10 week period in the middle of the summer, but then I'm kind of running low on time to enjoy myself and I really see this as my last opportunity to have a real last summer for a while.

On the other hand, I could take two easy BS classes in the first six weeks, mid may to late June, and enjoy two months off, but then I get to deal with a lot (maybe too much) free time, and a delayed exit from college.

I'm just bitching at this point. Trying to take my mind off the test.
