Try booting with CSM Compatibility Support Module, disabled.

Windows installation problems are literal hell. I once had to use cmd to fucking put the bootable usb drive onto the fucking SSD, and then boot off that so that the SSD would install windows on itself. Removing dual booted Linux was the worst computer experience of my life.

Get the hard disk controller drivers for your motherboard. Make sure you're getting the right one and the right one can vary based on the bios setup (AHCI, RAID, ETC), put the driver on a USB stick or load up the CD. Click the load driver link on the fist screen, locate the driver and your dad will show up.

There was something wrong with the way that the partitions had been created. Not really too sure to be honest. But I lost all my porn and that was most dissatisfying.
