Donald J Trump has made all his supporters look like cucks. Can't even pass a seven year promised healthcare reform.

The only thing lower than failure is quitting or pulling out.
>>
>>726815095
how are you functioning using this kind of flawed logic?
>>
>>726814931
You're right, he should have forced it through after it was shat on by literally everyone. Like what Obama did.

"Know when to walk away from the table." - Donald J Trump

Paul Ryan is a corporatist neoconservative.

you are still ignoring how it affects you as an end uder in order to be able to say you got on over on Drumpf XDDDD
>>
>>726815757

You mean deliver what was promised to stock holders? Or rather his voters?

If there was something he could have done, and he believes it's the right move, he should have done it.
>>
>>726815757
He would of if he had the votes...
>>
>>726815985

Fact remains:

There is more shame in quitting than following through.
>>
>>726815757
Obama had a Congress that voted for it, even without a single republican vote.
>>
What does Trump have to do with Ryancare?
>>
>>726816203
will this shame matter? will the shame translate into momentum in 2018? how will it compare to the existing anti-obamacare sentiment that was s prevalent during 2016?
>>
>>726816309
Other than the fact that he personally lobbied for it and threatened that Republicans would lose the House AND Senate if they didn't pass it?

Oh not much.
>>
genuinely not sure why people are viewing this as political party wins or losses. Trump is doing what he set out to do....prove that the entirety of the political class is a gargantuan fail. And he literally let elements of both parties do the work for them. Would Trump have rather had it pass or fail? who knows, he doesn't look at things that way, he structures things to where he has a path to win no matter what. It's hilarious that his opponents on both sides of the aisle can't figure that out.
>>
>>726816384
Good luck getting independents to keep voting Trump if he doesn't deliver.
>>
>>726816384

Yes.

Saving face is important, but what he did looks more like concession. Many were only placating him based on his perceived influence.

If he learns from it, it matters, if he doesn't, it matters.
>>
>>726816461
Take notes, this is what a shill sounds like.
>>
>>726816461

Win what?

If winning isn't accomplishing what he set out to do, what is?

Agreed. This was a win for regular citizens of America, and a first substantive stance against that asshole. It shows that even Republicans are becoming fed up with his shit, and are acknowledging his idiocy is strictly based on his personal gain of fame and fortune.
>>
>>726816461

>genuinely not sure why people are viewing this as political party wins or losses.

No one is.

Not one person is speaking of a Republican defeat.

It was Don. Or rather he just quit before it could.
>>

Alot of this is due to an angry establishment, who wanted to go to war with Russia, but since hilldog lost, the war with Russia is dead since Trump wants to have peace talks, instead of gun talks. No war with Russia means people with deep pockets are losing out on millions, if not billions of dollars a USA vs Russia war coukd generate.

Trump is doing fine, if nothing else he will prevent a world war 3, and honestly thats a rather good thing.

>"We have a plan that I think is going to be fantastic. It's going to be released fairly soon," Trump said Monday. "I think it's going to be something special ... I think you're going to like what you hear."
And now you're telling me he hated it from the start. How does it feel to be this hard in denial? You're absolutely ridiculous.
>>
>>726815757
Maybe he should have actually had a plan before promising to "quickly" and "immediately" repeal and replace Obamacare. He has said this many, many times, on many, many separate occasions.

This was a hard promise, and he broke it. What other promises might he break :^)?

>"No one knew healthcare was this complicated"
>Describes Trumpcare as follows: "We have a plan that I think is going to be fantastic. It's going to be released fairly soon," Trump said Monday. "I think it's going to be something special ... I think you're going to like what you hear."
>has now failed to deliver
And this abject failure will "translate into momentum in 2018" how exactly? The republicans were at fault. They fucked up. They didn't even have a fucking plan. Their president repeatedly promised that this entire deal would be "fast" and "immediate".

Who knows, maybe they'll start a war and be okay, but nothing about this is good for the republicans.
>>
>>726814931
Can you explain with citation what exactly Trump did wrong?
>>
>>726816461
>Trump is doing what he set out to do....prove that the entirety of the political class is a gargantuan fail.
He "set out to" repeal and replace Obamacare - and doing so "quickly" and "immediately". Do you believe he has delivered?
>>
Then the moron blames Democrats for not voting for it when at least 30 Republicans wouldn't vote for it.
>>
>>726816461
>this Trump damage control
>>
>>726818459
>Not one person is speaking of a Republican defeat.
It's bad all around. Trump promised to do all this shit "immediately". Republicans have been whining about repealing and replacing Obamacare forever. And now, with all three branches of the legislative power, they accomplish... nothing.

Obamacare>whatever republicans want, according to republicans.

Fuck all the government healthcare. I like Trump and I agree with the majority of what he has done so far. But this healthcare shit needs to be done away with as a whole. Let the people pay for it or do it themselves. That's no problem for anyone who can take care of themself like an actual adult. At this point the only people complaining are the liberal snow flakes who want everything handed to them and niggers. If they got rid of the government health care these people would either get with reality or die off. Either way it's a win for everyone else.

You are such a massive fucking idiot I'm surprised that you have the motor skills to type. 63% of all bankruptcies in the United States are due to medical expenses. The majority of those had healthcare that was not sufficient to cover their costs. If you think bankruptcy is a sufficient strategy for the end user you fail to fully understand the consequences for that. It will be a decade before you can own a home, everything becomes more expensive. I can't wait until you're sick with cancer and have to die in the street, alone, cold and in excruciating pain. Following your beliefs, everyone will just step over you and let you suffer.

This is... not correct. Tons of adults have pre-existing conditions, mental problems (no, not the "I feel sad so I'm depressed" kinda mental problems you're thinking of, but the serious, disabling kind), or are simply not skilled enough to earn enough money to pay for it.

Universal healthcare handles all the problems. Doctors are now employed to heal, rather than push pills or do unnecessary tests to bill insurance companies for more. It's not theory. It's not some nice thing that might be able to work. It's present day reality in most of the civilised world.

Amusingly, the libertarian approach barely looks passable in theory, and has never been really proven to work. Sorry, I prefer things that I know will work, over things that will only work in the very best of conditions.

>>726821203
Are you saying we haven't seen Trump's plan? I thought that his repeal and replacement of Obamacare would be "quick" - indeed, "immediate". Why is he lazing around? Where is our plan that would be better, cheaper, and cover more people than Obamacare? Oh, and why was Trumpcare on Trump's own website until very recently, if it wasn't his bill, and he didn't support it?

Are you absolutely sure you aren't 100% filled to the brim with reeking shit, buddy?

I'm saying it's nothing but spin hour when it comes to Trump and company. Everything that comes out of anyone's mouth associated with Trump is usually an attempt to rationalize anything he's done so far.

"I believe..."
"I think what he's trying to say is..."
"This is what he meant by..."
"No, you see..."
"The president thinks..."
"He's going to..."
Even the intellectuals for "Trumpism" have admitted that Trump isn't even the ideological leader of Trumpism, but instead that a bunch of people got together and decided to lead a movement ("Trumpism") based on what they have extrapolated from him and his actions.

And then Trump goes ahead and spins things, too. Wee!

dont you trump supporters ever get weirded out by yourselves? like literally no matter what he does you're going to do the mental gymnastics necessary to validate it.

its just scary to see people blindly support a politician 100% without any question.
>>
>>726822815
If youre even slightly self aware you wouldnt be a Trump supporter. Its like radical Muslims or anything like that.
>>
>>726822815
The blind man usually can't see, just saying. When people do the gymnastics, they aren't aware of it. They think it's logical, they think it's right, they believe it, and they don't understand it. It is as hard to reach them as it is for an anon to do regular gymnastics.
