also, what really made university fun for me is to engage into something i really liked doing in parallel which is sports

i got into rowing (something i had never heard or seen before in my life) and started doing some practice trainings, i ended up competing at a national level

the interesting lesson i learned from that sport is the ability to work (even when the odds are downright shit) and push through hard moments - also the people i was rowing with really motivated me to make the best out of studying and introduced some kind of 'social control' (as in: how is ur school doing?)

Locking yourself in your room to escape your nagging mother isn't the right way unless it is very temporary.

The right way is to find a way out of there in the first constructive way you can.

I recommend skills training, something that will let you work soon, and pay enough to support you while you find your own space in life.

Plumber, electrician, carpenter, driver/courier, whatever you can think of.
Obtain relatively short term certificates for real work skills and work, save and leave as soon as you have money for 2-3 months' rent.

You will feel like a different person once you are out, and if you don't feel like taking to your parents for a day or a week or a month, you can avoid answering the phone to them to stay away for! negativity.

You'll be free from it, and you'll be independent.

No obstacles, just surmount them, go around them, overcome them.
