It really depends on the drug, each one has a different half life, that being said if it is heroine, it lasts in your body for 7-15 days, although it lasts in your hair for 6-9 months. Vitaman C helps for downers, exercise (and excessive sweat) helps for uppers and anti oxidants helps for psychedelics. (and in the case of weed, overuse all vitamins, most of it will completely build up all the deficiencies (which helps your body recover) and the rest will get flushed out of your system (which includes marijuana)
