I'm currently trying to write a small book but the premise of the book is that everybody who reads it will get a different story.
For example the characters in the book will be populated by the reader, the events in the book will be memories of the reader, they create the storyline.
The problems I'm running into is I don't want it to be like an ad-lib style book where they would write the characters names, and I don't want it to be like those books where you turn to a certain page depending on what you want the character to do.
I want the story to be created from within the readers mind and stay there.

Started writing a story about a man who falls in love with a girl in his dream, and whenever he goes back to sleep he wakes in another life where he is with this girl, it is about his choice to either stay in his shitty real life, or try and become comatose and stay with his dream girl forever.
But in the end it's actually a story about a paranoid schizophrenic who lives in care and his dream world is the time when he's off his meds and his real life is his horrible life, writing it in a way that whenever anyone in his dreams talks to him, it's actually a nurse or psychologist, but everything said could be taken in one of two ways, either like a normal conversation but when you look again it's probing by the psychiatrist. I got inspired by it from a story about a guy from /b/ who fell in love with a girl from a dream and wished he could see her again. And a time I fell asleep after taking lots of ketamine and had a dream that was connected to another dream I'd had previously with a girl who passed through both of them.

Me and my friends decided we would try and combine doing drugs with other activities.
Last time, we did some ketamine and watched an episode of 'the joy of painting with bob ross' and bought loads of art supplies and painted along with him.
Then we decided to take a picture of eachother (3 of us) and then do a portrait of the others

Not really an art or book idea, but more of an idea for a product.
Paired memory sticks that are linked to a cloud folder.
The memory sticks have a private and public section on them, anything that is put in the public section can be edited or opened by the other people using the paired sticks.
Would be useful for group projects or handing work in to boss'/tutors.

Yeah i've not really explained it too well there.
So pretty much:
The author asks a question: straightaway without preparing a proper answer, the first thought in the persons mind is the answer, it won't be the answer to the question from the author, it will just be a small reaction, like a picture or a feeling or a new creation, this random thought will be symbolic of the answer to the question. the book will be created by the reader, maybe not always out of their memories, but the construction of that first automatic and intuitive thought that the reader has no control of is the substance of the book.

An idea for an app on a phone
Called 'The winner is: x'
The app is free.
Whoever donates the most money gets that app named after them.
refreshed every 24 hours.
The person in the lead changes the avatar on the app, and puts out a personal message that everyone that owns the app will see.
My thinking is that drunk students will start it out small and maybe get the lead bid up to like $20
Then those little rich kids of instagram who need people to know they are better than them will jump on to outbid eachother.
Then hopefuly some saudi prince will stick like $1 million just to show who's actually boss.
It appeals to the vanity of the rich and the need to be in the public eye being better than everyone else.
Also it's actually that fucking stupid that it might work.
Meanwhile I'll never have to work again because people are giving me money to make them famous.

I started writing a story that I guess you could say was a parody of A Christmas Carol, and even contacted a publisher, just to get some information if I ever finished (I didn't, but they still call me sometimes). Basically, this guy breaks up with his kid's mom and gets kicked out and has to move back home with his mom. When his first father's day without his kid rolls around, he decides to go to the liquor store the night before so that he can drink himself to sleep, instead of cry himself to sleep. I haven't decided if there were any drugs involved, too, because I never got this far with writing it, but he basically gets visited by the ghosts, like Scrooge did. The next day, he talks to his kid on the phone and feels okay.

Movie idea: male teen protagonist plans to kill self after signing up for a 3 million dollar life insurance. You can only kill yourself and claim the money after one year of signing up. The movie would be about that year.

Possible plot: during the year he regains his confidence and gets rid of his depression mostly, also because he found a girlfriend. This girlfriend kills him for the money eventually.

i've been working on this feature-length animation for six years but i only have a few minutes of it done:

trying to get Steven Merritt to make the soundtrack but i can't get in touch with him. YET.
