One of those threads has maybe three active, each one of them being shilled hard and maxed out. Now imagine the whole selection I mentioned having that same pattern. The craziest part? You don't understand how /b/ works. if the regular threads had plenty of participants then they'd keep refreshing until the post limit or image limit; if the spammed threads are from the same IPs then they drift down, as only new content bumps them.

All you're seeing is the threads you want are not popular, so they die. The other ones are popular, so they don't.

You onlt have to look at how fast the "log of shit" threads that the Sixx fanboy posts sink to see how this works.

I don't think you can use "response to spam" as a metric for the number of flesh posters

The bots and the spam that I see often that don't even go in seem to be about some variant of snapchat that some shill is pushing, probably because his botnet needs feeding. Now those I do report and the mods do seem to take them down

One answer could be IDs again - then you'd see the multiple posters. /k/ and others use that - but that didn't seem popular here as it stops the board being "random"
