Anything possible on a computer is possible with assembly; assembly is the lowest level of coding you can get, being nothing more than shorthand (and notations) for machine code.

As to why? I don't know, because you're some kind of psychological masochist?

Reading up on this, I've found it to be possible but why you'd use assembly for anything other than a driver is beyond me ... unless you feel like spending way too much time just to get your program to be a little faster.

If you want to troll your intro to philosophy professor, present one of these hypothetical scenarios when he/she covers ethics and uses the train example (is it worse kill less people or let die more). Unless they are familiar with probability theory or analysis (which they won't be, because philosophy is now a hug box circle jerk and lacks any substance or intellectual rigor) they will have no idea how to answer it.
>>
>>725328170
See, I agree with you that switching the track to one of the other two would have the highest chance of saving more people, I just can't bring myself to take part in it because IMO as soon as I do I'm contributing to the death of someone while if I don't then the death of those 5 people are on whoever put me in that situation.
>>

Einstein, Newton and Pascal are playing hide and seek. Einstein is it, starts counting down. Pascal runs off and hides. Newton just stands right next to Einstein, draws 1m x 1m square on ground. Einstein finishes countdown, sees Newton right next to him.
"Found you Newton"
"But you found 1 Newton/M^2. You found Pascal"!

Good joke, but I can't figure out a way to tell it without giving away before the punchline the fact that Newton is setting up a 1m^2 square.

Fuck your interpretation of morality. Morally I'm not going to get involved because as soon as I do I participated in this event and I killed either five people or one and by default they choose for me. I'll let 5 people die if I'm being forced to kill.
>>
>>725335150
Then refusing to save lives that you can easily save is the moral decision?
>>
>>725335150
Kek you're still hung up on that? Bro it says you have to choose. It's hypothetical. Okay, let's add the stipulation that if you flat-out refuse to make a choice they all get killed; and not a quick death from being ran over: if you don't choose the train comes to an abrupt stop and a bear jumps out of the coach and one by one eats each victim alive. Now, what do you choose to do?

This is the story of how i ended up loosing both my mom and my dad at the age of 12.
>Me, 6th grade
>I feel like shits going decent at this time.
>No huge fights but I began to notice my mom drinking more and more often
>Everything went downhill when her drinking habit got worse in the next few months
>Crap starts happening that I never expected my mom to do (Starts hitting me and brother n stuff)
>Right after school year ended, mom starts getting in huge fights with dad over nothing
>All around bad relationships with dad, he decides to divorce her
>For the next months my mom sabotages my dad by trying to get him fired at work and arrested
>Time goes by and were still in the same living situation with my mom and shit

My dad ending up commiting suicide because of all of the shit she said and did to him. He ended it with pills. But even after this we still lived with my mom. Just to give you an Idea of how bad the abuse was, heres a story of a case of abuse that happened
>Putting dishes in the dishwasher, but decide to take a break cuz theres so much to do
>All of then sudden my mom comes from the living room and asks what the hell I'm doing
>Runs up to me and slaps me, tells me to get back to work
>Out of nowhere, Inside me I just loose all fucks i gave and reply with fuck off
>Dish soap in hand, she tackles me to the ground, start choking me with the liquid
>Yell for my brother, he comes down stairs and tackles mom off me. We lay there in silence.

As we lay there in silence, I could hear the radio play softly in the background. I remember the song so vividly that played in that moment. My brother asked what the song was that was playing as we laid there. I told him to read the first letter of every line greentext

+ it's a question asking about morals and I don't condone the death of anyone, unless they are trying to kill others, so if I'm in this situation and I don't know which track will lead to the least number of people dying then I choose to leave the tracks on their current track because at least then I was not the cause of anyone dying because I didn't participate therefore the death of those five people is solely on the hads of the individual(s) who set the situation up. Now if it was just about statistics then the answer would be simple but because it's about morality you're killing someone unjustfully anyways and I don't know if the five people on the track about to get ran over or not are a bunch of murderers/rapists.

Just re-read the question: options ABandC are available and I choose A and door C is opened, how does changing from A to anything else change any unless when C is opened it becomes appearent that C has only one person on it. Changing from A to B is irrelevant because C is the only additional peice of info I was given. I still down know what's behind B or A so the info from C is only useful if it contains one person and in the case of this question, it isn't.
>>
>>725342445
Because I couldn't understand my own post: options A, B, and C are available and I choose A and C is opened. How does changing from A to B effect anything when C is opened? if it becomes apparent that C has only one person on it, then it would be in my "moral best interest" to change it to C but that's not the case.
AKA: the reveal from C hasn't effected anything other than you now knowing that C had 5 people on the track. A and B are still unknowns and it's illogical to choose B because you now know that C has 5 people on it.

In 2/3 of all cases you will get one of the two 5 track segments since 2 of 3 are laced with 5 faggots. So if you pick one of those the other will be shown so as long as you pick a 5 man door (odds being 2/3) you will "win" by switching to the correct door.

The whole point of the train dilemma is that the difference between choosing and not choosing is purely psychological - by being given a choice, you're already a participant, and choosing not to participate is just as much a decision as choosing to participate. It's worth reading up on (separate issue entirely from the Monty Hall problem that it was jokingly combined with). That's my take on it at least.

The train dilemma isn't about morality or what's right or wrong, so that example is completely irrelevant...it's simply to demonstrate that there is no real difference between choosing to intervene and choosing not to intervene - it's a human bias to believe not acting somehow makes you less responsible than acting.

The point is that you can't always give a 100% moral decision. No matter how you chose you will still act immoral in one way or another, rendering the concept of morality obsolet. Your action will be determined by the moral code you follow. Morality is dependent.
>>
>>725349022
That's not the point at all, since morality is explicitly not the point of the thought exercise? If your goal was to kill everyone, it wouldn't change the take-away message of the train dilemma at all.

Prove that math is a invention of man
Rules are all made up and have no rooting in the real world. Take the problem with the rabbit and the turtle. If the turtle has a lead the rabbit will never overtake him. While the rabbit needs time to travel where the turtle was the turtle will travel an amount bigger than 0 m, so the rabbit has to catch up again and so on. This only works when the units aren't fenced by planck lenght and seconds. Maths don't fit 100% but its the best shot made.

If you chose a 5-rail door (chance beeing 66%) the other 5-rail door will be shown so if you change you will get the 1-rail. If you dont change the odds are reversed so if you change you will win in 66% of cases.

>>725353150
No, you're just dense. Yes, you are correct that you have a 33% chance of getting one person and a 66% chance of getting 5 people but when you remove 33% from that 66% you end with a 50% chance of either having chosen the statistically unlikely option of the one person and a 50% chance of having the five people. You're acting like because you're at a statistical disadvantage at the start that that changes the probability of your option having been the track with five people after you've found out where one of the tracks with five people are. I'll put it this way: if you have a bag with three marbles in it, two red and one black, and you remove a red marble you suddenly have a 50/50 chance of drawing the black marble where to begin with you only had a 1/3 chance of drawing the black marble. Just because statistically you're at a disadvantage at the beginning doesn't change your statistical probability after the one option has been removed.

The probability difference on this one also depends on if the track with 5 people that was revealed was randomly selected between the 2 not-chosen tracks, or if a track with exactly 5 people was specifically chosen to be revealed.
>>
>>725353896

You have to chose the marble before you eliminate the other red one. Actually if you chose to change your choice after the marble is shown you are having a statistical advantage since in 2/3 cases you'll win. The 50/50 chance is only true if you chose the marble after the red one is revealed.

true, which is why the concept of a white ethnostate is nonsense because while it is true that as groups, whites are more intelligent than blacks or mexicans, so sufficiently large samples of relatively randomly participant individuals will reflect their respective populations, but being able to select the populations that come, be they hispanic or black, will be an equally beneficial choice

Wrong

If you talk about a state you have a large amount of samples so statistics apply here. A 100% white population will have , seen as a whole, a population with a higher average IQ than a population made up by 100% blacks, therefore beeing smarter. On the other hand if you picked one citizen at random you could end up with the smartest black guy and the dumbest white guy. Only by giving a big enough basis statistics will even out and beeing relevant.
