It's a manga that's been running for 20+ years now, and it's pretty incredible. One of the things that's most interesting about it, is that the author has basically reinvented himself in his style several times throughout the series, while still keeping it true to its roots. During the first 10 volumes (referred to collectively as the "Golden Age" arc), it's basically gritty 80s style manga of purely dark medieval warfare, becoming borderlined historical fiction. but in volumes 11-12+ literally hell opens up and pours itself onto earth evil dead style but in a completely serious manner. Over the next ~5 volumes you have every bit of bad in his world corrupted and risen to full blown demonic rape-fests; corrupt priests burning everyone at the stake, packs of roving goblins kidnapping women, raping and impregnating them to make more monsters, an evil god-emporer who tries to take over the world etc. It then turns into a traditional swords/sorcery fantasy where Guts assembles a team of rag-tag heroes to destroy the five God Hands of hell, one of whom was his best friend and rival during the Golden Age.

I did 25 Barrows runs the other day, nothing good though, but the death runes will be good for ice bursting. No good items though.
Is Urara about the same since the first ep?
First ep was alright, but felt like it didn't have much going for it.

Not too much on my end, released a bunch of batch torrents, QC'd Fate Go, caught up on Koro Sensei Quest, Nyanbo, LWA, All Out, and finished Hibike Euphonium 2.
All around decent, Hibike left a bad taste in my mouth. I wish they introduced Asuka's daddy problems a long time ago in S1 so she was marginally more likable. Rest of it was okay, but we didn't even get to see them perform at the end which made them getting Bronze pointless.

Also ran into Autumn Elegy at Duel Arena and he complimented my Spartan outfit so that was neat.

I've been recommended Gantz, but have also heard it refered to as the catcher in the rye of Manga lmao

Am currently reading one piece which is just NOT berserk but it's so goddamn fun and enjoyable lul

Goblin Slayer is pretty fucking good, however it's only got 9 chapters as of yet.
I would also suggest Overlord, I've read the manga abit and watched the anime. Thought it was fucking great.
