Never ever start off day trading without any experience. The emotional attachment to your money and lack of underststanding will destroy your money. As an eperiened investor, I would say patience is the best way to make a lot. Invest in stable companies that pay dividends or have a lot of remaining market potential.

Day trading is also pointless because your margins on stable companies will be practically 0 with trading fees and such since algorithms will always beat you to the trade.

Penny stock investing basically means you buy shares of a company that is or was not able to generate enough revenue through operations, so instead it sells part of itself to public investors. Small penny stock companies are also usually diluted as fuck and will continue diluting shares.

You can make money off of shit as dumb as new game or console release (you can also lose a lot if you just blindly invest in the next publisher pushing out a AAA title). Best thing I can tell you is diversify if you're working on low startup. Pennies are very nice for testing the waters but don't fluctuate exactly the same as more expensive stock. There are thousands of user interface/user experience design agencys worldwide but almost none that specialise in designing a UI within a 3d space, it's all still designed for a static screen.

Within around 3-6 years 3D artists, developers and user experience/interface designers are going to grow. They will expand from a very small group with somewhat-sought after skills, to having money thrown at them due to their scarcity in a time when everyone with an AR/VR application from training simulators to porn sites will need 3D trained devs & designers. Snap'em up into a company while they're cheap & the market is only just beginning to grow into the behemoth it will likely become and the rewards down the line will be outrageous. There's no doubt in my mind that many of the guys over at /3dcg/ are going to make one hell of a lot of cash in the next 10 years.

I have 6 years experience in UX/UI design and will soon be unemployed due to a corporate restructure at the financial I work at.
