I've been working for your clientele for the last year. You need to know three things.

There was one woman whos a very old and crazy now. She'll corner staff and interrogate them on some bull shit or another imagine problem in a super aggressive way and then the second they stutter, misspeak, or say something wrong she goes APE SHIT and yells at them for a solid 45 minutes. God help you if you walk away from her, turn your back, or talk to anyone else while shes screaming.

This behavior went on for a solid four years I'm told and was only stopped within the last few months because management threatened to ban her for preventing their employees from doing their jobs.

Depending on what position you'll be working in, it would most likely be a breeze. Cart Girls will get a shit load of money in tips. The servers will take some shit, but for reasonable tips. if it's not a tip position, you should be networking in order to turn it into something of more value.

The people are great. My actual supervisor and the manager 100% understands that the client can be actual satanic assholes.They're very loose about off the clock drug use, theres always overtime, were 24 hours so there's a lot of flexibility with your shifts.

I'd say only about 15-20% of the clients are going to be assholes but HOLY FUCK will they find new and innovative ways to be assholes and the end up being about 85% of the work

Management doesn't allow that kind of bullshit and theres cameras everywhere we're allowed to be so its really easy to prove if someones lying.. That said every now and then you'll get some assholes who whenever they have a problem they scream "I WANT THEM FIRED" over expecting something to happen. 90% of the time the "problem" is something stupid like they tennis quarts are totally booked for the day, that stuff we all laugh about behind closed doors. The kind of mistake that gets you fired is like double booking a room or causing a loss of more than 10K in a month.

As for access, no. However If we're working 10 hours we get a free meal from the kitchen, regardless of position.

Its going to help your skills a lot but you have to keep in mind that you're not working at a normal high end restaurant. Real life high end restaurants have razor thin profit margins and need to stay cutting edge and cool Theres a high demand for new dishes and different styles. I don't work in the kitchen but its more like high end catering where you're making a about 8 things each day, and about 52 different things so you get very good at those specific things fast.

This job will teach you a lot about business etiquette. Who the big players in various industries are, and how to talk to rich/powerful people without making an ass of yourself. Every employer likes to see those things.

Im not a very social guy, but i got my friend a job there too and he is, he became a server and got more hours there way faster because he'd make friends with the old people. I ended up leaving for a retail job after the 2 years because management went to shit and i was tired of smelling like food
