Honestly not really. I expected it to be much harder but like I couldnt sketch a face with that much detail. Blender is free, the most you have to lose is your time.

I was able to do this scene after watching like maybe an hour worthof instructional video, and in the past Ive used it to make a waving flag animation with my old bands logo on it. It's incredibly versatile, and if you can make it work for you its a gateway to so many opportunities.

Like looking at the work youve shared here I have no doubt you could quickly pick it up and have a lot of cool stuff to make with it. Being able to actually put perspective into practice and such, photo realism is something Blender is totally capable of so you can make some really cool and bizarre things come to life.

I wound up getting one of those Udemy courses that really helped me break the program down mechanically that helped tremendously. I learned how to make the program work for me. I didn't have the money to go to college for anything so it was kinda refreshing to have something I could work at my own pace while Im working and taking care of my family. Considering the program was already free, I didnt mind spending the $10 on the class cuz I thought worst case scenario I was out ten bucks, nbd. But I also snagged Unreal Engine since its free as well. A buddy of mine in town works for a local game studio, and he said hed be interested in hiring me to make some models for him when I get a bit more practice down so thats pretty cool.

Have you thought about starting with commissions online or something? There are plenty of people with incredible storyboards and ideas, but no drawing skill.

Yeah im in the same boat to a lesser degree. Art CLASS at school killed it for me faster than I thought would be possible. Ive always loved art and dont think it will stop but I just cant bring myself to love my own art I suppose.
