It honestly sucks. This all started when I was like 15 and very rarely I'd happen upon a pack of cigarettes a friend would've somehow gotten. I liked it because I saw it as an alternative to weed, which made me too self conscious and weird around other people. But with cigarettes I still got to actually smoke something without tripping out.

Years later and now I'm smoking every day.

And my health and cardio has vastly improved.

Basically you're just getting all of the smoke you normally would if it wasn't for the filter. Hits stronger as you're getting more nicotine as well.

The filters are there mostly to soak up most of the tar you'd normally be getting, but at the end of the day the filters themselves are chalk-full of chemicals and you could make an argument that non-filters are actually healthier.
