I keep thinking lately why most of us seem to think the universe is infinite; of infinite possibility because of the nature of infinity, and yet we don't understand that we are not in an insulated form that infinite possibility. It's all encompassing through and through. One man goes to hell, another lives in a multiverse where there is only eternal nothing after death, and the third man of which only sees possible but insubstantial outcome of those mens choices.... he lives on forever because the one truth it that you can never step into a universe you are not their to perceive.

Everything either is or it isn't. And we have something so there must be everything. And nothing too.

Life is the cycle/processes by something(s) that lead to the prolonging of itself, with gradual changes to improve on its survival.

Everything is nothing anons, not trying to sound deep, but that's the truth. Even if what we do echoes trough generations nothing escapes the same common end. Our universe will expand, get colder and die with a whimper. Everything we did or will do is indifferent, we just do that to keep ourselves sane till the day we die. There's no point, our lifes and everything we see are just fruit of the randomness of the universe. There's as theory that says even a gigantic brain will exist at some point of the universe. Everything our society believe and accomplish are mere mirages, we don't need to follow them. We don't need to work at pointless jobs, marry or have useless childs, we just need to pursue our own hapiness to numb our existence.

we are living one of the infinite possible realities given by an infinite universe living and dying in an infinite selfrepetitive circle.
its proven that the whole universe as we know it can come to existence out of pure nothing.
and it is expanding. it will expand untill everything is so far streched out that at one point there will be literally nothing again. and after an infinite amount of time, there will be another universe.

life is a consequence of our reality. we are the universe itself. we are the conciousness of the universe. tho we are still an infant, maybe just a fetus. but we, or other species, will reach a state of evolution were they know it all and become one with space and time once again.

the meaning of life is to learn, to teach, to breed, so that the next generation can build up on our knowledge and so on.

Thanks, I've heard about it, but it isn't about pursuing pleasure? That's not for me though, that sounds too pathetic and weak. I like more nihilism or stoicism, even though they are not perfect. My point is, we are limited by time, matter, wealth , distance, health and knowledge. Maybe we will never unshackle ourselves from this problems and even if we do, we'll ultimately fight the inevitable. There's no higher being to see what we accomplished, there's no one watching, the universe is indifferent to human kind, there's no greater plan or gran finale. Everything will just cease to exist. That's it. Why being miserable? Why follow rules? Why kill yourself? Time will fix these problems, give you new ones and then undo you and everything you've made.
