1) big hits, hold for like 10 to 15 seconds.
2) take many in a row without a break, the oxygen deprivation will enhance the high. If you start to feel dizzy, take a break.
3) use a gravity bong, if not then a regular bong will do.
4) combine with alcohol for a much better high
5) keep lights off when you are back inside
6) ghost your last hit, inhale and don't breathe it out for a while so that when you exhale, there is not smoke.

Coughing does make you get higher, but I feel that's from the asphyxiation related with it. I used to hold smoke in as long as I could, but I found that was unnecessary and unwise. I agree with those saying that you should pace yourself. This is coming from an old smoker who also doesn't smoke very often - usually nights - and nowadays gets uncomfortable from smoking too much.

Can't remember what they're called for the life of me, but you make it by taking a paper towel roll (just the cardboard), filling that shit up with dryer sheets, and breathing slowly out through it. Have your window open, take smaller hits, inhale some air while iinhaling from your pipe to make it work better, and exhale slowly through it. No scent will be left. Cover your pipe too, and dont leave it or your weed out for more than five minutes, and while out, keep them covered with your hands when you can.

I've smoked daily for ~5 years now. Daily dabbing for 2 years.
