I need some major advice bad.
I'm writing an essay on the short story Sealed Off by Zhang Ailing, no problem writing my thesis or the paper as a whole, but i require 2 outside source journal citations which in a way support my viewpoint.
Problem is that after going through every single research database my school has I have come to the conclusion that absolutely no one in the academic field has written anything over this specific short story, ever.
TDLR, I need 2 outside source citations that don't come from the book itself when writing my paper, problem is that no one in academics has ever published anything about this short story, am I fucked for not providing 2 outside sources and only provididng in book sources? How do I circumvent this?

Try google journals or whatever it's called, that or academic search premier if your a uni student. You should be able to find peer reviewed academic journals online

Ive tried everything, at this point i'm thinking that i should just submit my paper with ony in book citations.
I cannot find anything on google scholar or all of my schools databases about this story.
I've looked hard enough on google scholar and it's only mentioned by NAME, nothing else, only mentioned by name, such as "the author wrote so so and Sealed off, nothing else.
You seem like a smart anon, do i just tunr in the paper with only in book citations, i mean, i know i will be docked off points, but how do i explain to the professor this?
