Dealership is probably fine if you want to pursue a career in auto care. It's a good foot in the door. I grew up in an auto-shop with car buffs who always had something racing in Portland, whether it was stock cars or dragsters.

In my opinion, you will meet the most interesting, and best connections in the detailing business with vintage car clubs. Seriously so many rich dudes who will give you good deals on their cars just because they like you. Tons of things to learn and good people to hang out with. They're always going to rallies, and road runs. I know I'm just speaking from my experience, but I would go with the detailing position unless you think it's going to hard cap you in your career field.

I thought the detailing would be best, just because I enjoy being around the classic cars. Everything's run on a computer now it seems. My moms new Honda doesn't even have traditional brakes. It's a sensory that communicates with a computer near the breaks. The computer adjusts breaking for loss a wheel traction and everything. It pretty much drives itself.

Master's and higher is just the standard of most human services fields (i.e. psychology, social work, SLP, etc.). Better off to minor to meet min Master's reqs and Major in something that leads to a decent job with just a bachelor's imo.

I understand that computers can drive better than we can, but I love classic muscle cars.
I know we're hitting peak oil soon, and that driving manually will be illegal within certain city limits, but I'm hoping there will be alternative fuels that will let me drive my dream cars on the highways whenever I want.
