I've been browsing /b/ since I was 13, and am now 23. What happened to the good ol, days /b/? Everything now is just constant reposts of the same shit, there used to be new and original content daily, almost hourly at that..

I feel you. I discovered this place through FunnyJunk when I was 8, I'm 19 now and have browsed /b/ off and on over the years. It sucks, I used to find things to actually laugh at on here, fucking blasting FJ, 9fag, and reddit with the LOIC, miss that shit.

You were on /b/ when you were 8!?
/b/ is 99% porn now
80% of it is politcal/propaganda porn too (trap, sissy, cuck, ect)
When YLYL had funny off the wall shit instead of the same 20 images.

/b/ was never good.
Member the good ol days, member when there were no trap threads, member when there was aftual original content. Stop pouting about it and come up with some originality yourself becuase im not.
Generating content doesnt help because it gets drowned out by all the cancer.

Yep I've been browsing /b/ since about 2005 and it's a fucking ghost town now. Back then this thread would've been run off page 10 by now. Instead it'll probably be here until morning.
Basically everybody was chased away by the white knight and SJW's that started out as counter culture to the /b/ counter culture to internet normies but it looks like they've won this battle and all the cool kids have gone somewhere else.
MEMBER EFG?

they just went to other boards
it's like growing up and going to college, except you end up on /k/ or /o/ or something for more focused and nuanced shitposting.
>>723747555
It's true I basically spend my time on /o/ and a bit on /k/ now and look around a few other chans occasionally but imo there hasn't been enough of an uptick in traffic on those other boards to make the difference.
Fact of the matter is /b/ just isn't as outrageous as it was and that's why everybody left. Question is, how to get back to being outrageous?

something about idiots not mistaking satire for like-mindedness
