You wouldn't need to mix it with anything like coke, or even club soda, to make it more palatable.

For me..., yes..., but let me explain.
I just personally don't care for drinking beers, ales, wines, etc., because:
1. I have to drink a shitton of it to get a buzz.
(You know..., "Likker is Quicker"..., but also more cost effective.)
and
2. I alway feel bloated and have a headache an hour later.

I also don't like liquor made with a lot of sugar because it gives me a horrible hangover the next day.

Grey goose, in particular, is a western style vodka. It is extensively filtered so that it has no character whatsoever. If you're drinking it straight or in a martini, maybe grey goose is a decent choice (though still overpriced nigger tier). If you're mixing, you buy whatever cheap vodka they have because you're not gonna taste it anyway.

I've also been on-off with drinking (like, a year sober, then a year of mostly-functional-alcoholism).

It's crazy how much happier and more productive I am when sober. I just can never eliminate the feeling that I'm missing out on something if I'm not drinking.

I wouldn't say you're a high tier alcoholic, but you're getting to the point where your body will start to have withdrawals when not drinking(waking up in cold sweats, flu symptoms, feel like shit unless you drink, etc) been through it all, it sucks. My advice; slow your roll anon, don't let your body get accustomed to the alcohol, mix it up a bit. I can't go more then a day without having some type of withdrawal symptoms. It honestly sucks, I remember when I used to drink two shots and be wasted now I'm downing a bottle and two other malts drinks and weed to be able to sleep. Addiction sucks. But I will say it's all mind, not a disease, i was a heavy heroin addict for 3 years, prior to drinking and weed. I stopped a decently heavy heroin addiction which seemed impossible, alcohol is next, weed will follow after but slowly (have muscle spasms, cbd topical creams and cbd strains are the only thing that has helped, I've been on scripts and muscle relaxers, didn't help as much as CBD)

Here goes:
Alcohol is the only intoxicant from which the medically unmanaged withdrawal ("the DT's") symptoms can, and often does, kill you.
You can actually die from the withdrawal if you have a true alcoholic addiction.

Even with heroin, if you go through withdrawal alone, you will not die.
You might think you're going to die..., you mioght want to die..., but you will not actually die.

Not so with alcohol.
That's why you should always go through real alcohol withdrawal under a Physician's care.
