ASK AN OLDFAG ANYTHING

Soup /b/, really bored and have some time to kill, so I thought I'd share some of my experiences on this hole of a website. 10 years ago, memes were constant posting of girugamesh, socially awkward penguin and demotivationals, and even they were considered "forced". Now, memes are any short video or image with text on it.

4chan started getting more casual, real oldfags left for @chan, &chan and *chan where they could continue using stickcam, pursue the creation of a hacking/raid (or /i/) board, and posting gore/cp/etc. Especially after snacks got permabanned, which meant no more lulz worthy material cause m00t is a bitch.

I came here 11 years ago (whether you believe me or not) and was surprised how so many retards found the one place to frolic without ridicule. Obviously this place has changed, but believe me when I say that /b/ was never good.

/b/ had moments that shook the board and even the internet, but majority of the time it was filled with shitposting faggots, bots and trolls. And Christ, there were a lot of bots. Only difference now is that technology has advanced, and now there is a plethora of porn threads, as opposed to the constant /r/ threads.

Now that's just a few things that have dramatically changed over the years. Not trying to prove anything, but I hope this gives insight to any /b/tards who were wondering what this place was like in the "golden days". Happy to answer any questions either.
