too much of any drug can mess with your body chemistry, so i would say if he thinks he's drinking too much coffee and is feeling worse because of it then he should worry. but if he isnt having trouble sleeping or any of the effects anon said above, then yeah, no need to worry.

Try dosing it down. I also had times in which I started every day with one liter of coffee.
