/b/ ive been thinking about space. I was watching some brit top ten show about aliens and it was talking about ufos and it got me thinking. Why hasnt space travel been invented? (lets leave out the possibility that the tech probably has been invented and has just kept secret)
Now, from the stuff Ive found about the subject the only research that has been attempted at all is anti-gravity, but how would that be controlled in space? you make something weightless and put it in a weightless environment how would you control movement with a serious degree of speed and precision? What if we need an artificial gravity generator. that is to say, what if the machine that propelled the craft was a mini core, like at the center of earth, it would have to be an extreme heavy element to create the pull needed, but after that learning to direct the pull of the gravity wouldnt be that large a step would it?
so what do you guys think, im no engineer or anything but this is whats been in my head and i think i want to go after it.
>TL;DR gravity propelled ufo not antigrav, discuss
