Most laptops have a 2.5" drive, with SATA power and data connections. If you have a desktop PC, even if it is a prebuilt, there should be an extra SATA power cable (since most prebuilt computers have non-modular PSU). SATA data cables can be had for less than a dollar each

Or you can get a 2.5" drive to USB 3.0 on Amazon.

After that, it is literally drag and drop.
