Who's your favorite composer /b/? I would definitely say either Chopin or Liszt. Also, any of you guys play piano?
Schostakowich. Uematsu.

mine would be beethoven. his music is power. plus i love his story and his fiery nature. i also rather enjoy listening to the Rach 3.
i used to play piano way back in the day when i was a youngling but i hated the weekly practice sessions. being good at something like an instrument takes too much work.

You know he never even had formal training? He can't read sheet music. He feels really humbled when classically-trained professional musicians play his stuff in orchestras. It's kind of cute.
Heitor Villa-Lobos

Shostakovich scored a few movies, but I don't think any of them were animation.
Chopin, Mozart and Soler. I try to play a little.

i've never clicked with chopin; one of the reasons i've never entered chopin competition is just that his music is so individual in nuance. i just don't have the proper temperament to play it and to be honest i feel nothing when i listen to most of his output, save for his first and fourth ballades, and some nocturnes, mazurkas, and polonaises. i think his sonatas are dreadful.

j.s. bach personally, seriously, his piano music could be studied for lifetimes
>>723527857
Winter Wind, do it faggot

I was blown away studying bach in music school during fugue analysis. It's almost hard to comprehend how a human could write such things
If y'all like piano you should check out some of smalin's videos. He does graphical representations of pieces. Chopin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzNjgGvqBJw&index=80&list=LLlWc7WGLMAz39dB-Oyu2XSw

Damn. As a former conservatory piano major (Peabody), I'm dying to know who you are.
For me, Bach. On clavichord. That's mine.
