where to begin really...i'll try to adhere to some basic principles of orthography--even though i am not in the mood to do so--so my writing does not become too nonsensical or disjointed. anyway yeah columbine was a seminal moment in my life...i was in 6th grade when it went down. in its own way it represented a demarcation for me an end to my age of innocence.
i remember those times as entirely innocent...boot up AOL and go to the N64 Sux Board on Antagonist Inc. and surf totse and play doom and go to ampland or hardcore junky and porno TGPs. those were good times. great times. when columbine happened it felt like a dress rehearsal for what was to come. tragic. i thought i identified with the shooters because i was going through an unhappy place in my life and i thought that they were bullied and the other common myths.
columbine has a lot of personal meaning i have projected onto it. i could go on and on but it misses the meaning of the event. i am by no means a columbiner but it is a fascinating topic

I was thirteen at the time.
I remember the event vaguely but it's so strongly associate with the time that I find it strangely compelling, even at the age of thirty.
