Here's a tip: Buy some super innofensive books, like the shit the normal stay at home wife would immediately pick up.
Buy them with paperback covers. Also buy the same amount of paperback covered novel, but this time buy horrible lude stories or some shit like that.

Swap the covers of the two different book types and put the "innocent ones" in the box.

Profit and giggle as you watch ladies get their free copies of mein kampf with a "Become your better self with meditation" books

If you do both, you're giving away the fact someone messed with the box, and it's likely people won't get the books at all.

Just don't remove the other normal books, leave them in there for good measure, and make sure you correctly glue the covers back to the paper. You can use any wood glue for that.
