if your writing a report you obviously have to do a certain amount of background research/gain a general knowledge in the area your writing about.

obviously it shouldn't take longer than a couple hours to write 2000 words as long as you have an idea what to write about in the first place.

this is a lawyer's trick : put a space after every comma and period . in fact put spaces on either side of any punctuation mark . then when the teacher does a wordcount , they count as a word .

Introduction and Discussion alone will take like 1000 words so really it's 1000 words of some brain activity. Whatever you are doing OP, just day there are "3 aspects" this means thst you can put 3 middle paragraphs of 300 words a piece.
