Alright /b/ help me figure something out that's just popped up.

I have this headset set up where the angled aux connects to the female input (Pic Related) and is eventually connected to my pc through usb

The thing is the connection where these two parts meet accidentally brushed up against a metal part of my desk and whenever i press it into the metal handle i'm able to faintly hear a radio signal of some sort (Seems like a basketball talk show)

wtf is going on
