Contrary to what your economics teacher and people trying to enforce conservative values. 100 bucks is not a sum that makes money, unless if you're taking a ton of risk with it by doing extremely risky call and put investments, invest before a big bitcoin increase (and you can just as easily get a big plummet), or invest in a quantity of drugs and move them.

Now, if you can put back 100 bucks a month into an investment profile, that over like 20 or 30 years can become a big sum... But honestly, until you're at least into the upper middle class income bracket, you aren't gonna be putting much back, you simply don't have it to put back.

If you only have 50-100 bucks a week in disposable income after bills/rent/food/car expensesj, it's gonna be used to make the present better rather than put back in the future. Maybe taking a girl on a date, going out to eat a couple times, some booze or some pot, etc. A hobby like ammo and range fees for the shooting range.

He who has, gets. He who has nothing or very little needs to fight tooth and nail to not lose everything.... There's very few in between these days.

AMD is a very historically volatile stock. It's had tons of booms and busts, but the trend for the company itself is steadily downward as it will continue to have trouble competing with Intel. The new line of chips doesn't change that.

Right now it's nearing the top of a boom cycle, and it will go bust again. So if you feel confident you can get out before it busts again, sure.

I certainly wouldn't hold onto to it for a whole year like you're implying though.

However, even if i was doing basic website stuff or literally whatever that needs you to own something other than shoes i would add a certain percentage of the price, to the price of the initial job, because it is fair and will still be cheaper than hiring an actual business

I would put in in a bank account if investing in my own business was not an option, eventually i would invest in real estate to provide a passive income

theres no "get rich quick" scheme that actually works, the fastest possible way i can think of is to get into livebetting, watch every match of whatever sport you want to get rich on, literally every single match and start betting after a month or so when you feel confident that you can predict results, i made some 3.5k pounds a few years back doing that
