Is this game's multiplayer really as godawful as everyone

played it about 100 hours, i had fun. I really like feeling and movement of the ID Tech 6 engine.

It truly is. It makes me exited for Quake Champions.

The argument that its "shit" is that you can practically one - tap people a majority of the time, which just makes it more fun in my opinion

Movement feels, sluggish in the Multiplayer, only two weapons allowed at any time. shipped with no normal Deathmatch, no weapon pickup's in stage.

Basically, yeah it's multiplayer, no it's not DOOM multiplayer. It felt too much like trying to be CoD multiplayer, with a DOOM Skin.

Was very disappointed in the Doom Multiplayer, mostly because the feeling between MP and SP was so apparent (and plausibly a result from having different developers for each part). MP should have felt just like SP. The fact that it didn't made the whole MP experience feel like such wasted potential. It wasn't awful, but nothing like SP Doom.

But yeah, I'm also really hyped for Quake Champions.
