In grade 12 a guy at my high school put some teachers into on /b/ for a personal army request and he got suspended. I heard about 4chan from that incident then in first year university I was pretty lonely so I started going on more often. By second year university I was a frequent lurker of 4 boards including /b/.
Grade 12 was in 2008 so I've been here a while

I got here in 2007 ,I found 4chin through the shroomery of all places.They were talking about fat virgins spamming porn and gore.I was an avid fan of porn and gore so I googled that shit .
I left during the exodus to h8 chin back in 2013 and I'm recently back because h8 chin /b/ got shitty.

I heard about 4chan in a forum about videogames like maybe 6 years ago. I came here and I liked it for a while.

Funnily enough, I heard about Reddit here so I went there and I loved it: "Wow the perfect neet site to have always something to check and people seems nice. I don't need 4chan anymore". Then I got banned from a few subreddits for some soft shit and I started becoming angry, but whatever, maybe it's my fault, maybe I'm an asshole. Came here in '07 or '08 when a friend showed me in a h.s. computer class. I didn't get on regularly until a year later. I'm on every now and then for the discussions and to see dank memes. When something major happens though (tragedy/invasion/etc) I always hop on. There's usually an anon or two nearby who give updates faster than social media and sometimes there are links to the local radio frequencies. I tried using Reddit for the Turkish military coup as it occured but the decent factual stuff was downvoted as it came in and there were no videos/pictures like /b/ had.

Plebbit is gay but the links to scientific articles are solid; can't stand the fucking comments. I literally have never been on 9fag. I'm not sure why/when the majority on here began hero-worshipping politicians and I can't believe even script kiddies are rare.

I worked at a restaurant with this older guy who was also a public defendant. He bartended a couple nignts a week on the side, and he was always telling me how much I'd love it, so I started lurking in 08/09.
