you know how hard it is to get dust out from between you keys? imagine how hard it is to get toxic green slime out.

pop all the keys off and put them in a tub with water and lots of dish soap. shake around the tub. blow all the stuff out of the keyboard and when the keys are dry, pop them back in.

you can also be lazy and just smear dish soap all over the keys and then take it to the bathtub. wash the keys and then move it around underwater. i smoke so there are ounces of ash in my keyboard so the water turns black. make sure it's totally dry before you try it again or it might actually fry the keyboard wiring. i've done that a few times too. either way, 10 bucks for a nice keyboard with extra buttons--volume is priceless and i also use the calculator button; you don't have to set them up, they just work--and 4 for compressed air at big lots.
