Why are Americans so easy to manipulate? No matter who would've won, you're the laughing stock of the world.

The brave man inattentive to his duty, is worth little more to his country, than the coward who deserts her in the hour of danger.

I don't think anyone was manipulated. USA citizens got what they voted for. There is no invisible hand tricking everyone and seizing power. There were options in this election, these are the two people that made it to the semifinals.

basically.
Personally I think Hilary would've been better but we were kinda fucked.
It's amazing that they were the least popular candidates of all time. Literally anyone besides hilary couldve beaten trump and vice versa.

this, people thought hilary was a great idea until trump started winning then they just jumped from bandwagon to bandwagon

It's not an invisible hand, the candidates themselves manipulate you retard. They dictate what you think, how you feel tonight, how you view complete strangers you've never had a problem with before. Identity politics has consumed America.
>>723023255
No that's you and the media doing that.
>>723020935
>>723023255
so much this, anyone whose entire life revolves around politics and allow it to dictate whether or not they be a decent human being is immediately on my shitlist, ironically. politics is a cancer that has taken on a life of its own and has been allowed to roam free
>>723023255
Perhaps political candidates dictate how you feel and what you think; but not I. From my perspective the candidates said "I believe in A, B and C. I think we should do X, Y and Z." People cast votes for them because they agreed with one or more of those things. Trump said he wanted to send illegal immigrants out of the country, there are a BUNCH of people in the USA who want to see this happen... and so on and so forth.

Agreed, I voted for Trump because I agreed with his policy. All of them.
>>723020935
>implying most Americans actually care what the rest of the world thinks...
Protip: We DON'T

System's broken. It's all corrupted by money so you can't get honest candidates and they will always serve the corporations and donors and not the public. That's why you get shit choices.
